How our numbers work
Every tool on this site runs on real vet-procedure cost data and insurance payout records. We check each formula against public fee schedules and user-reported bills before it ships. Prices on this site are always shown as ranges with an "as of" date, because vet costs vary by region and over time. We never publish a made-up statistic.
What we are not
We are not veterinarians, insurers, or financial advisors. Our numbers are planning estimates, not medical or financial advice. Always confirm a treatment plan and cost with your own vet, and read the actual policy wording before buying any insurance product.

If a number on this site looks wrong, we want to know. Email [email protected] and we will check it against our sources and fix it quickly. Getting the math right is the whole point of this site.
